Heard about TalentCorp before? Well, TalentCorp was established on 1 January 2011 under the Prime Minister's Department to formulate and facilitate initiatives to address the availability of talent in line with the need of the country's economic transformation. With this, TalentCorp hosted a Sector Focus Career Fair (SFCF) at University Teknologi Mara or known as UiTM last week which was at 12 & 13 November 2013.

The event act as a part of its strategic thrust to optimise Malaysian talent, as well as facilitating awareness among the public of the career opportunities available in priority sectors under the 11 National Key Economic Areas.

I know some of you guys might be confuse of what it is. Put it in a nutshell, this event provides an opportunity for graduates to meet with CEOs and senior HR representatives of participating companies, while providing a platform for companies to scout for potential talent from universities in Malaysia. From this, we can see that graduates win and companies win. WIN -WIN Situation! =D

The two day event include a Career Talks and Couch Corner Slot whereby Career Talks is a platform developed for young generation to engage with prominent industry leader while the Couch Corner Slot was designed for thevisitors, especially students,  to interact with the companies in a relaxes atmosphere.



This is how Couch Corner Slot looks like, students can engage themselves by asking questions and of course this event really do helps graduates or students to guide them to the career that they wanted or to show them, what are the career that is suitable for them. In this case, no worries on what job to look for when you are graduating.

This is a must not miss event if student or fresh graduate wanted to look for jobs or guidance in the near future.
